Digital Circle Members Update - September 2016

Welcome to this months update

The big event on our calendar is the MonsterConfidence UK tour happening in Belfast this Thursday. It’s a conference specifically developed for girls and women in the ICT industry (and for those interested). If you’re interested, make sure you register. If you’re interested in helping, make sure you get in touch with the STEMettes.

We will be unveiling a new web site in the next month or so as well as our sustainability plan. Please bear with us.

This comes on the back of conversations on what Digital Circle should be doing in the future. We have seen there is need for representation at the lobby table for ICT and Digital Media with a unified voice. Digital Circle since the founding in 2008 has always put the members first, we have always strived to keep information relevant and our focus firmly fixed on the growth of companies in our sector. We won’t be changing this focus and our new sustainability model will hopefully offer new opportunities for our members to grow and network.

The latest opportunities we are fielding are supported by the Digital Catapult in the UK. We see great opportunities in NI and beyond for “immersive” technologies and a further consolidation in our strengths in 3D visualisation to complement our worldwide reputation in data analytics and security. We are looking for the smartest companies with the most visionary ideas for commercial applications in 3D, visualisation and immersion to come to a networking event in October. Get in touch with matt@digitalcircle.org if you are interested.

A note from this months sponsor, Q-Alliance.

Q-Alliance have been working in Belfast for Northern Irish companies for the last four years and boast clients from Enterprise Software to Design and Advertising Agencies within the province. Outside of NI, they’re working in 18 countries and have a wide network of developers encompassing all modern technologies and platforms.

Whether your needs are remote contracting, project outsourcing, remote customer support or even sourcing a CTO and development team, Q have extensive experience in all of these. For an example of their services, check out http://q-alliance.com

Q are very happy to be sponsoring Digital Circle this quarter and look forward to meeting some other members at future events. For more information email matt.johnston@q-alliance.com
