Digital Circle Steering Group welcomes new nominations

As we move to the next phase in the development of the Digital Content Sector in Northern Ireland, the Digital Circle Steering Group would like to invite new nominations for the Digital Circle Steering Group under the new membership guidelines established in the Digital Content Strategy version 2 "Moving Forward 2012-2015"

The Digital Circle Steering Group is seeking a minimum of 7 industry practitioners with at least one drawn from the following sectors:

  • Film & Television
  • Mobile Development
  • Games Development
  • E-Learning
  • Web Design & Development
  • Advertising
  • Animation & Post Production

Additional members shall include volunteers from Professional Services (law, accountancy), local Investment Firms (Venture and/or Angel syndicates) and Academia (at least one representative from multiple colleges and universities).

Steering Group members shall be required to attend quarterly Steering Group meetings and also chair special interest sub-groups (such as those involved in the development of Skills, Investment and Funding, Internationalisation) and represent Digital Circle interests in dealing with government and academia.

Individuals nominated must be able to commit the time required to the post in a voluntary fashion and be aware that their actions not only reflect the reputation of the industry as a whole but also their work should be an exemplar within the industry.

These posts are not remunerated.
