Placements required for Belfast Met Foundation Degree Software Engineering Students

We seek Work-Based Learning placements lasting 15 weeks (minimum) to 7 months (maximum) for our year two Foundation Degree Software Engineering students who are in preparation for their progession to the second year of the Software Engineering Hons. Degree at Ulster University. Real-life work experience is a fundamental and mandatory component of the FDSE course. The placements can start any time from 30 January 2017.

Modules studied to date include: Java programming (3 modules), Web Programming (2 modules), Database and Systems Development, Hardware and Operating Systems and Mathematics for Software Engineering. Students in previous years have developed apps, re/designed web sites and databases.
