My name is Stephen and I work for Ulster Supported Employment Ltd ,we are the largest supporter of people with disabilities and health related conditions in Northern Ireland and also run programmes for the long term unemployed.

Here is some short information on some of the programmes we run which are all free to your business;

Steps to Work; Basic Placement This is where we place a client with a company for up to eight weeks, five days a week getting on the job experience. These clients can be suited to your companies needs as we have clients who are looking for Administration, Retail, Warehousing, Cleaning etc etc.

Steps to Work; ES PlacementThis a 6 month programme where the client has volunteered for training with ourselves. They will go out on placement for 4 days a week and spend 1 day training with ourselves

Steps to Work; VRQ Placement. Our VRQ clients will undertake 13 weeks training and gain a Vocational Related Qualification in either IT Maintenance or Web Design. On completion of their course they would undertake a 13 week placement to gain valuable experience in order to get back in to and sustain employment. (See Attachment)

Level 2 Diploma ICT Systems Support City & Guilds • Install and support ICT systems • Hardware/Software • Repairs

We can arrange for one of our Employment Support Officers to call out and explain the programme to you in more detail, as every client with us has an Employment Support Officer designated to them.
