The Tomorrow Lab Presents: Social Media and Influencer Marketing

Web at Life Centre, Belfast

Following the success of their digital marketing events last year, digital marketing and web agency The Tomorrow Lab will be returning with The Tomorrow Lab Presents: Social Media and Influencer Marketing on Thursday 25 May, 12-4pm.

The event will be hugely valuable for any marketers looking to increase their knowledge and expertise in these areas, with a great list of speakers planned and lots of opportunities to connect throughout the afternoon.

Speakers include social media influencer and former Miss Northern Ireland Tiffany Brien, who has amassed thousands of followers across her Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts; Brian Harte, Head of Customer Engagement & E-Marketing with Tourism Ireland; Jack Hamilton, Marketing Director at Mash Direct, a business which last year saw a total reach of 7.5 million through its social media channels; Alex Ayin, Co-Founder of Social Chain, now one of the most influential marketing agencies in Europe, with offices in Berlin, Manchester, NYC, London and soon to be India; Eoin Young, Content and Social media Community Manager at Electric Ireland; and Michael Beare, Director of Finn Lough Resort.

Also speaking at the event is Jess Orr, The Tomorrow Lab’s Social Media Executive and recently awarded Best Young Digital Person at the DANI Awards in Belfast.

“Social media and influencer marketing form a significant part of what we do The Tomorrow Lab and we’re excited to be focusing on these areas at our next event,” says Jess.

“We will be sharing insights from our recent work with clients, as well as hearing from companies, such as Social Chain, Mash Direct, Electric Ireland, Tourism Ireland and Finn Lough Resort, about their latest campaigns and successes across different social media platforms.

“What’s more, we will be looking at the increasingly popular area of influencer marketing - Forbes recently reporting that 84% of marketers plan on executing at least one influencer marketing campaign in 2017,” says Jess. “For those who have not come across it before, influencer marketing is when an individual uses their personal brand and influence to promote another brand and its product/s. At our event, we will be hearing from Tiffany Brien, one of the top influencers in Northern Ireland, as well as companies who have been using it successfully as a marketing tool.”
