MobileMonday Dublin presents another free networking event for mobile professionals, focussed on developing apps for the BlackBerry platform.

In July 2011, BlackBerry App World was available in over 100 countries, seeing an average of 3 million downloads per day, and they also crossed the 1 billion app download milestone! The opportunity for Ireland-based developers is clear.

Announcing the company's Q2-11 results on 15 Sept., Jim Balsillie, Co-CEO at Research In Motion said: “We will continue to build on the success of the BlackBerry 7 launch to drive the business as we focus our development efforts on delivering the next generation, QNX-based mobile platform next year.”
