Ideally educated to HND/Degree level within a business or marketing related subject. You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Experience of selling software solutions within the engineering, construction, built environment and scientific sectors is preferred. Candidates shall ideally have experience working for a startup or young company.
Main Duties involve identifying leads, pitching/presenting, negotiating, networking, managing client relationships, managing marketing activities and preparing management reports.
Other duties may include: active use of social media, coordinating marketing and customer support staff, liaison with technical staff, preparing presentations, developing marketing strategies and managing budgets.
Ideal Candidates will be highly proficient in Microsoft office, Excel and PowerPoint and have a deep understanding of marketing principles.
The candidate will be client facing and must have demonstrable experience of selling to professionals in small and large enterprises. The candidate must enjoy networking, presenting and have excellent communication skills.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous sales success at interview or by reference. This role will involve frequent travel, primarily within UK. However as the company grows there may be a need to travel outside the UK. Salary and benefits are negotiable.
